Many public policies systematically introduce, reinforce, or exacerbate disparate outcomes for low-income people of color. Thoughtful data analysis can support policy development, implementation, and evaluation that minimizes unintended consequences and fosters more equitable outcomes. CLASP conducts analysis of national, state, and local data to accurately document racial disparities and disparate policy impacts by race to inform our policy recommendations and advocacy.
