Juliana Zhou is a policy analyst with CLASP’s income and work supports team. She is passionate about advocating for policies that promote a dignified and stable life for families with low incomes and immigrant families. She brings expertise in research, data analysis, curriculum development, and policy.Juliana began her career as a market researcher, conducting qualitative and quantitative research in the consumer goods and health care sectors. In keeping her with community-centered approach to developing policy expertise, she has also previously conducted fair housing rental testing for the Housing Equality Center of Pennsylvania and planned the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center’s annual health fair in New York City’s Chinatown. Prior to joining CLASP, Juliana helped to develop a graduate-level pre-orientation course on the local history and context of race, racism, and other intersecting forms of oppression at her university.She received her master’s degree in social policy and data analytics from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy & Practice and holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Yale University.
